Seller Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Market.com.np . By registering as a seller on our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Seller Registration

1.1. Eligibility: To become a seller on Market.com.np, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

1.2. Account Creation: Sellers must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. Misrepresentation of identity or business information is strictly prohibited.

1.3. KYC Verification: Seller KYC (Know Your Customer) verification must be done properly and thoroughly. Sellers are required to submit necessary identification and business documentation for verification. Market.com.np reserves the right to approve or reject the KYC based on the information provided.

1.4. Approval Process: All seller applications are subject to review and approval by Market.com.np. We reserve the right to accept or reject any application without prior notice.

2. Product Listings

2.1. Listing Accuracy: Sellers must provide accurate descriptions, images, pricing, and other relevant details for all products listed on Market.com.np.

2.2. Prohibited Items: The sale of counterfeit, illegal, or restricted items is strictly prohibited. Sellers must ensure that all products comply with local laws and regulations.

2.3. Pricing: Sellers are responsible for setting the prices of their products. Prices should be competitive and in line with market standards.

2.4. Stock Availability: Sellers must ensure that the products listed are in stock and available for immediate shipment. Stock levels should be regularly updated.

2.5. Warranty Policy: Sellers must specify the warranty policy for each product listed. The warranty terms must be clearly communicated and should comply with local regulations.

3. Order Fulfillment

3.1. Processing Orders: Sellers must promptly process and fulfill orders received through Market.com.np. Delays in processing may result in penalties or account suspension.

3.2. Shipping: Sellers are responsible for packaging and shipping products to customers within the specified time frame. Sellers must pay all shipping and handling fees for courier so add it to the product price early.

3.3. Tracking Information: Sellers must provide all tracking data in the order note once the order is shipped.

3.4. Order Status - Delivered: Sellers must only mark an order as "delivered" once the product has actually been delivered to the customer. If a seller falsely marks an order as delivered without delivering it, they may face penalties or be permanently banned from the platform.

3.5. Returns and Refunds: Sellers must establish and clearly communicate their return and refund policies. These policies must comply with Market.com.np’s standards and local consumer protection laws.

4. Payments

4.1. Payment Processing: Market.com.np will process payments on behalf of sellers and remit the funds to the seller's registered bank account, minus applicable fees and commissions.

4.2. Payment Schedule: Sellers can request a withdrawal of their earnings once the order has been delivered, and the customer has confirmed satisfaction with the order. Payments will be transferred to the seller’s bank account within 24 hours of the withdrawal request.

4.3. Commission Fees: Market.com.np charges a commission on each sale made through the platform. The commission rate is currently 3% (until further change) for all products and digital products seller must pay for monthly subscriptions.

4.4. Customer Satisfaction: Payment to sellers will only be processed after the customer confirms receipt and satisfaction with the product. If any issues arise, the payment may be withheld until the issue is resolved.

5. Seller Responsibilities

5.1. Compliance: Sellers must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and Market.com.np policies.

5.2. Customer Service: Sellers are responsible for providing excellent customer service, including timely communication and resolution of any issues or disputes.

5.3. Intellectual Property: Sellers must ensure that all products listed do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. Market.com.np reserves the right to remove any listings that violate this policy.

6. Account Suspension and Termination

6.1. Suspension: Market.com.np reserves the right to suspend or restrict a seller's account for violations of these terms and conditions, or for any other reason deemed necessary.

6.2. Termination: Either party may terminate the seller account at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, the seller must fulfill any outstanding orders and cease using Market.com.np’s services.

7. Dispute Resolution

7.1. Dispute Handling: In the event of a dispute between the seller and a customer, Market.com.np will act as a mediator and attempt to resolve the issue amicably.

7.2. Legal Recourse: Any unresolved disputes may be subject to arbitration or legal action, in accordance with the laws of Nepal.

8. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

8.1. Amendments: Market.com.np reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Sellers will be notified of any changes and are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to the updated terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. Liability: Market.com.np is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform by sellers.

10. Governing Law

10.1. Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal.
